- Alto Jiyugaoka
- concept
- This is a rental apartment facing Jiyu-dori Street in Jiyugaoka
In a dense residential area, natural light and breezes are taken into the inside of the units by planning a vacant space on the south side of the building and facing large windows of each unit to the vacant space.
A quiet living atmosphere is provided inside of the house by not having windows on the noisy road on the east side.
The curved exterior of the building attracts people to the inner part of the site.
The bronze finish for the handle of the outside stairs and the movable maintenance panels express an attractiveness by the material wearing and changing its appearance over time.
The architectural elements of the curve surface and bronze board allow the building to serve as a gate, providing the residents emotional closeness year after year.
