This house is located at the far end of a blind alley in a dense residential area.
Based on consideration of future changes of the adjacent lands, a path is provided in the center of the site in order to connect the front road and the southwest part of the site that opens to the neighbors.
The path divides into two units and allows light, breezes and people to circulate.
The curved exterior wall facing on the path creates a soft flow which cuddles people gently.
The curved space is designed as a living-dining space with three sliding doors. The variations of the way to open/close the sliding doors provide changes of the connection to the bedroom.
This “Gathering and Living” environment with the path may give residents emotional enjoyment as a wish to live for many years to come.
